Seattle Housing Authority

Seattle Housing Authority’s mission is to enhance the Seattle community by creating and sustaining decent, safe and affordable living environments that foster stability and increase self-sufficiency for people with low incomes. The agency provides long-term rental housing and rental assistance to more than 29,500 people.

Housing Connector

Housing Connetor takes a forward-looking approach to partner with property owners and managers to lower barriers to housing and increase our region’s affordable housing capacity. What results are win-win outcomes that see businesses meeting their bottom lines and households having a place to call home.

With the support of the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and its members Housing Connector is building connections and opening doors for families and individuals in the King County community.

Zillow Community Pillars

A Community Pillar has agreed to modify their standard tenant screening process in order to help applicants with potential rental barriers—such as low incomes, spotty credit scores, unemployment, or lack of housing references—be able to obtain housing. These landlords and property managers know that securing safe and reliable housing is often the first step towards a brighter future, and they want to help everyone in their community find their way home.
